You’re spoilt for choice when you grow up in a place like the picturesque City of Cape Town. It’s home to the hustle of the city, the serenity of the historic winelands, the vast blue ocean. We really do have it all.

I have always dreamed of travelling the world. Exploring different cultures. Devouring dishes I’ve never heard about. An air hostess I had to be then, right? As I grew older and encountered one life-changing decision after another, I began to feel an almost magnetic pull to an industry that captured all these things. Clue: not an air hostess. I found my way to the Wedding & Events industry through the love of beauty itself. After high school, I studied Professional Make-Up Artistry at The Make-Up Issue, before completing a 3-year National Diploma in Events Management at the esteemed Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

I’ve been in the industry for over 10 years now, and am fortunate to have been exposed to many charming venues and reliable suppliers. I have mastered the art of multi-tasking – without compromising on efficiency and the quality of the outcome. Over the years I have adopted a solution-driven mindset that allows me to consider every little detail with a clear goal in mind.

I am always prepared with a contingency plan, and can draw on my creativity and flexibility when there is no plan C. This has been a key factor in successfully planning and co-ordinating events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings of 20 people to functions of 1800 guests. There is one thing that brings it all together for me though – regardless of the event – and that’s my total passion for innovation, and adding a distinctively unique flair to everything I do.

Many will agree that I enjoy getting to know my clients personally. It’s incredibly important to me that I nurture the kind of relationships where clients feel comfortable to call on me at any time, knowing that they are receiving the advice and support they need to pull off an event as perfect as they envision.
